The Monon

This afternoon was finally beautiful outside again. It was a little chilly to go in the baby pool so out to the Monon we went. The whole crew was with us. Both dogs, Duke and Jersee, Ella and us. It is a very good thing we have our Envoy now with a trunk for the dogs to jump in. I figured Ella might take a nap on the long walk but she proved me wrong and was awake the whole time. She started out quiet and then went to talking and babbling as the wind blew in her hair. On our way back towards home we went down by the river.

The dogs love the water and admittedly have been a little more neglected now that Ella is around. They had a blast chasing the stick in the water and Ella was beside herself watching them go. She loves the outdoors and is so interested in the dogs. Isn't amazing how you can tell bits and pieces of her personality already? She is a daredevil. Loves to be pushed high in the swings and pretend like she is being dropped.

She loves the outdoors, and many times that is the only way she will calm down if she is overtired. And she is an animal lover. She has never been scared of the dogs and always stretches to watch what they are doing and welcomes them with a smile when they come in for a wet smooch.
