13 months old

13 months old today! We don't even get to spend all of it with her...we have a busy day today! First swim lessons, then nap, then off James and I go to Ohio for a wedding. Although I know she will be perfectly happy with my parents, I just hate to leave her! She is so big and continues to amaze me. Here are some things she can do now that she is 13 months old:

says: dada, dog, eat, that. duke, jersee and thank you

signs: please, more, all done, and help

she will point to: eyes, nose, belly button and mouth

she is giving even better high fives with a little heat on them now :)

she is wearing: 12-18 month clothes and even some 24 month shirts fit her better than others

nicknames: Bam Bam, muffin, squishy, punkin, stinky, munchkin, ella bella, pretty girl

She has four teeth and is working on two more on the top on either side of her front teeth. She communicates so well now. She will even go to the fridge when she is thirsty. She loves to carry everything around and she is so strong, hence the nickname Bam Bam! She can put most of her puzzle pieces in the correct spot by moving them around until they slide in and she LOVES music. Especially in the mornings she points to the dogs and calls them by name. She consistently says the same thing for each dog that sounds really close to Duke and Jersee. 

We are down to a bottle in the morning and one at night. She will take her sippy cup throughout the rest of the day and she continues to be a very healthy eater. 

Some of her favorite foods are: strawberries, green beans, potatoes, pasta, turkey, corn beef, cheese, yogurt and fruit bars.

Her favorite books are: Brown Bear Brown Bear, 100 First Words, and her Little Feet and Little Hands like books. 

She can stack blocks, pull and push her popcorn popper, now she can stack her rings and let you know when she wants something she can't get to. She even listens to "no" very well. She is obsessed with opening and closing doors. Whether it be the cabinet doors, her bedroom door, or any other door in the house. She also really likes dumping everything out of a basket or bucket and putting them back in again. One of her favorite games is to take out all her clothes from her drawers and to pull all the folded laundry down while we are folding it! 

We are so excited to see how much more she learns!
