Those moments

This morning when Ella woke up early around 5 all she needed was a little lovin to go back to sleep. When just rubbing her back didn't work, I picked her up to rock her. These moments where she lets me hold her close and is completely comfortable are what makes motherhood. As she was falling back asleep in my arms this morning she looked up at me with big, blue wide eyes. It was the sweetest look and all I could do was smile back at her. She then closed her eyes and drifted to sleep, smiling as she sailed back into dreamland.
