Yesterday we started our day with swimming lessons. She is doing really well and I think if anything she is enjoying playing in the water. She tries to kick and she splashes too. She will go under water and doesn't cry but she is shocked each time :) She laughs when I blow bubbles and she will float on her back and "dig" for the little rubber ducks. She even tries to climb out on the wall like the bigger kids. She will grab onto the side and put her feet on the wall and I just push on her bottom and she crawls out! She is the only one in the class that hasn't cried during a lesson. It is mainly just fun for us to do together. We sing songs too so it is a nice thing to do in the morning. By the time we get home she has crashed and takes a nice morning nap. Yesterday she took a two hour nap! She must have worked really hard! We had planned to go to the waterpark at the Monon Center so about 12:30 James went in to check on her. Just a minute later he whispered for me to come to her door. As I looked in I saw Ella sitting up in her crib just playing with one of her toys in there. She had woken up and decided to just play. When she saw us looking in on her she turned and smiled at us. She is too funny.

a little sleepy from all this swimming!
taking a break from the pool to play with toys and attempt for mommy to get a tan
After lunch we went to the waterpark. We showed Daddy all the things we have learned in swim lessons. She was even climbing out of the pool with just a little support from us. She is so strong. She amazes me. We played in the fountains, went on the lazy river and played in the big pool. She was talking it up and enjoying splashing and people watching. Later we went back to the towels to have a little snack and to take a rest in the stroller. When we started to go back to the pool again, James had her standing on the rope fence. It was just tall enough for her to stand on the bottom rope and hold on to the top rope and of course chew on the top as well!
Love those wrinkled piggies! Can't wait to have some of my own soon!!
