Tuttle's Apple Orchard
On Thursday the three of us got to go to the apple orchard. Thanks to seeing the great idea from Karla, we thought we would join in on the fun too. It was just a short 25 minute drive east and easy to find. Ella fell asleep on the way but was quickly awake and ready to explore her new surroundings. We were able to get a little red wagon to pull her and our apples around in. We searched the aisles of trees for Jonathon, Golden Delicious, Cortland and Red Delicious apples. Ella enjoyed the wagon ride and holding the apples. The best part I think was all the wind. She squeals with delight when the wind blows through her hair. Ella got to ride the little tractor, play on the swings with Daddy, find her way through a straw maze and take pictures as a cow and a horse. Later we went into the greenhouse and explored the indian corn and the bees. Ella was amazed as she watched the hundreds of bees crawl around the honey comb. She tried to pull the door open to get to them but luckily the door is screwed shut! Here are a few pictures from that day!
